Day 1– Our Adventure Begins

Cloud 9
We kicked off our trip by strolling around the island.
First stop: Cloud 9! Cloud 9 is the most iconic surf spot on the island and a must-visit destination for wave enthusiasts and beach lovers alike.

Cloud 9 Boardwalk
But it’s not just about surfing—the area is also home to the famous Cloud 9 Boardwalk and Tower, a long wooden pier that leads to a three-story viewing platform. This spot offers panoramic views of the surf and is a favorite among photographers and spectators.

“AFAM” Bridge
As the sun began to set, we made our way to the AFAM Bridge—humorously named after the many foreigners often seen hanging out there. It was heartwarming to watch people simply relaxing, sharing good food, and enjoying music by the water.

Day 2 – Island Tour Fun!

Guyam Island
Our island-hopping adventure kicked off with Guyam Island! This cute little island has such a fun vibe—there’s a basketball court, a volleyball area, and even cottages you can use for free! Plus, there are food stalls where you can grab a bite while enjoying the breeze and taking a dip in the crystal-clear water. Perfect first stop!

Daku Island
Next up was Daku Island, and wow—we spent most of our time here! Why? Because this is where we had our free lunch, boodle fight style, with other tourists. Such a fun and filling meal! Daku also has cottages and a volleyball net, so there’s plenty to do while you chill.

Naked Island
Then we hit Naked Island—and yes, it’s literally naked! No trees, no huts, just a stretch of beautiful white sand in the middle of the ocean. A total dream spot for sunbathing and photos!

Secret Island
Our final stop? The mysterious Secret Island. Can you guess why it’s called that? Because it only appears during super low tide—it’s usually underwater! This hidden sandbar is just near Guyam Island, and spotting it felt like discovering a little treasure.

Day 3 – Land Tour

Coconut Mountain View
We started the day at Coconut Mountain View. In Siargao, it’s not just the ocean that takes your breath away—there’s also a “sea” of coconut trees stretching endlessly toward the mountains. It’s a simple roadside stop, perfect for a quick break and stunning photos. Local photographers were there offering creative shots known as the Human Drone, which made for a fun experience.

Sugba Lagoon
Next, we took a motorized boat to Sugba Lagoon. On the way, we were surrounded by beautifully preserved mangrove forests—so peaceful and untouched. At the lagoon, we enjoyed swimming and kayaking, and for the adventurous, there’s a platform for cliff jumping into the crystal-clear water.

Magpupungko Rock Pools
Our third stop was the popular Magpupungko Rock Pools. We were lucky to catch it during low tide—this is the only time the natural pools appear. The water was clear and inviting, perfect for a refreshing swim and some cliff jumping.

Maasin River
We ended the day at Maasin River. By then, we were all a bit tired, so we simply relaxed, took photos, and enjoyed local shell snacks with salt and lime. Like Sugba Lagoon, Maasin River also offers opportunities for cliff jumping and swimming, but we chose to unwind and take in the view.
As our unforgettable Siargao adventure came to an end, we were left with sun-kissed skin, full hearts, and memories that will stay with us forever. From chasing waves at Cloud 9 to discovering hidden sandbars and plunging into turquoise lagoons, every moment on this island was pure magic. 🌴✨
